Schedule for Attorney and Advocate Support

Follow these steps to schedule your appointment:

1. On the left side of the screen, select LEGAL ISSUE (New or Return) or UNIVERSITY CHARGE.

appointments are to further discuss the same issue of concern addressed at a previous appointment. University Charge appointments are for cases involving the Office of Student Conduct or the Office of Civil Rights and Sexual Misconduct.

2. Select an APPOINTMENT TIME. 
For same-day appointments or if no times work for you, email us at glao@umd.edu, with your availability. We’ll do our best to accommodate requests outside our regular schedule.

3. Provide the REQUIRED DETAILS.  
Be sure to use the same email address used on your initial request form.  

4. Select the TYPE OF APPOINTMENT you prefer. 
If you select a Zoom appointment, the link will be sent a few minutes before your meeting starts.  Email appointments are appropriate for limited situations, such as brief follow-up questions. 

5.  Select CREATE APPOINTMENT.
You will receive a confirmation via email.  If you don't, please let us know by emailing us at glao@umd.edu.

CAN'T MAKE IT?  If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please email us at glao@umd.edu as early as possible. Your notice opens a time slot for another student.

OFFICE CLOSURES: Legal Aid is closed when the UMCP is closed, including holidays and inclement weather days.
