Behavior Basics Seminar

This class is a MANDATORY prerequisite to all dog training classes offered at Seattle Humane and must be taken before starting your first class. After registering, you will be redirected to the Seattle Humane website (you can then enroll in the 6-week group class of your choice). Check your inbox for a confirmation email.

This session is held in-person at our shelter in Bellevue.

Suggested donation: $25. To access the class for free, choose "free class" in the "Fee/Coupon/Credit" field.

In this two hour seminar for humans only you will discover how dogs learn, how to teach them using positive reinforcement based training and the clicker method. You’ll also learn about how dogs communicate and how to address common behavior problems. We encourage everyone who will be training the dog to attend (multiple people may attend under one reservation). This session is currently only offered in person at our loaction in Bellevue.
