If you sign up for the wait list, and someone drops out you will AUTOMATICALLY be added to the class. If you can't make it, send me an email. You won't be charged if you can't make it.
MAKEUP CLASS: If you are a current student that would like to enroll in a class for a make up class, please do NOT sign up for any class that is more than 1 week away. (For example, if the date of the class is Oct 8, please wait until October 2 to sign up for class).
Upon sign up, you will get a confirmation email with directions, release, facility rules as well as other information. A reminder email with directions will be sent 2 days prior to the specific class.
Sport Puppy Foundation is for puppies (3 months or older) or adult dogs who want to work on foundation and engagment skills. The curriculum is based upon a 5 week schdeule, but you are welcome to repeat as many times as you want. This class is also suitable for older dogs that would benefit from some foundation skills.
The class structure will be:
Station Work: You will work through 3-6 excercies at stations in the arena while other dogs are working at their station. Dogs will all be on leash or behind a barrier.
Group Excercise: All teams will be working on something together in the arena and all dogs will be on leash.
Individual work: A single working dog will be off leash working on something, all other dogs will be behind a barrier.
This class is NOT for dog agressive or people agressive dogs. Reactive dogs MAY be allowed in on a indidividual basis.
Agility 101/201: is for teams that are still learning all the equipment and handling/sequncing. Each class will consist of 2 turns, one will be a short sequence (5-7 obstacles long), and the other turn is handler's choice (another sequence to finishing up contacts or weaves).
Agility 301: is for teams that are competing at Open/Advanced/Excellent levels. Teams should be profcient on all obstacles and be able to sequence about 15 obstacles. Each team will get 2 turns on sequences (10-15 obstacles long).
Agility 401/501: is for teams that are competing at masters, and international levels. Teams should be profcient on all obstacles and be able to sequence 15-25 obstacles. Each team will get 2 turns on sequences (10-15 obstacles long).
COST: Individual classes are $35 (JH $18), or you can buy a punch card for 5 classes for $130 (JH: $65)
