APPOINTMENT
— Each slot is for one (1) applicant only. All persons applying must each book a separate slot.
— Do not book more than one slot per applicant. Duplicate bookings may result in cancellation of all your appointments.
— Arrive on time.
DOCUMENTATION
Before your appointment, review the full requirements for your visa category on our website here.
You must arrive with all required documents. The consular authority reserves the right to not receive incomplete applications.
— All application forms must be fully completed using the forms available at the link above.
— Documents must be in English or Greek. Documents in other languages must be accompanied by a certified translation.
— Present originals of travel documents and visas, together with one photocopy of each document.
NATIONAL VISA APPLICANTS
Confirm your visa category and gather all category-specific documents before your appointment. Required documents per category are listed here.
PROCESSING AND PASSPORT RETURN
Decisions on Schengen Visas are issued within 15 calendar days from the date the application is accepted as admissible. In certain cases this period may be extended to 30 or 60 calendar days.
Decisions on National Visas are issued within a period of time which depends on the category of Type D visa which is being applied for.
DECISION
Applicants will be notified at the time of their appointment of the date on which they will be able to retrieve their passport, with a decision having been made by the consular authority. Delay in submitting required documentation may impact and/or delay the decision on the application.
Upon submission of their application, applicants will be given a receipt. Applicants must keep this receipt and have it with them to pick up their passport.
Only the applicant can pick up their passport, unless the applicant has authorized in writing a specific third-party to pick up their passport on their behalf.
MAIL RETURN
To receive your passport by mail, bring a prepaid, self-addressed USPS envelope. The applicant's name and address must appear as both sender and recipient.
