Consultation hours for preparation of a grant proposal

The consultation hours offer one-on-one support for an applicant who is going to submit a personal grant in an upcoming deadline. There are consultation hours for the Marie Curie (MC), NWO Veni and Vidi, ERC Starting (StG) and Consolidator (CoG) grants.

How does it work?

1) Register for one time slot that fits in your preparation time line. If you do not have a user account yet, please sign in first. Then click on the preferred slot. Slots are filled on first come, first served basis.
Nick Ollivere and Jorrit Kelder are specialised in the Social Sciences and Humanities;
Anna Coyajee, Angela Noble and Anke Klerkx are specialised in the Exact and Biomedical Sciences.
Regardless of this, they can all help you with your proposal.

If your prefered grant advisor or date is not available please contact us at grants@luris.nl to schedule an appointment.
You can only reschedule by removing your appointment and picking a new slot that is still open. An appointment needs to be made at least 3 days in advance to allow the advisor enough time to prepare.

2) Prepare for the meeting. Minimum requirement for the consultation is that you send a cv (preferably in the required template) and that you have an outline of your research plan (max 1 page). Rejected proposals are also suitable as a starting point.

3) Send your prepared material at least 3 days before the consultation hour to the advisor. In the confirmation e-mail, you will receive information on how to contact the appropriate advisor.

4) The advisor will read the proposal and give oral feedback during the consultation hour.
