To make a reservation you must have:
- An active semesterly Maker Pass
- Completed General Workshop Safety
- Completed the online and hands-on training (see module in bCourses)
This system does *not* use CalNet login. First time users should register a new account.
If you cannot make a reservation, cancel it at least 1 hour before it begins.
- Reservations can be made up to 7 days in advance.
- Three 30 minute reservations/week total on any combination of Jacobs Hall laser cutters (red, green, blue or yellow)
- Please prioritize red laser reservations for larger work and reserve only if the green, blue or yellow laser cutter are busy
- Unreserved times are designated drop-in use by anyone until the next reservation
- Late & no-shows: After 10 minutes a reservation is forfeited and the remainder of the time is given to the first drop-in user
Individuals with valid Jacobs Hall laser cutter training and an active semesterly Maker Pass can use the small table top Universal Laser cutter (24x12 in cutting area) at the Invention Lab. Training data is automatically transferred.
