Welcome to the Materials Lab Training. This training will take place in the Materials Lab located in Lee Hall.
There are TWO trainings to sign up for in this section.
1. Woodshop #1 ( 1 hour )
During this training your instructure will demsonstrate how to safely operate a series of tools, then you will be required to safely operate the tool. The primary tools for this training are:
-Table Saw, band saw, miter saw, and drill press.
2. Woodshop #2 ( 1 hour )
During this training your instructure will demsonstrate how to safely operate a series of tools, then you will be required to safely operate the tool. The primary tools for this training are:
-Hand tools, circular saw, reciprocating saw, jigsaw, drills, palm sanders, bisciut joiner, handheld router, and stationary sanders.
Both woodshop trainings are required for all students. There must be at least 3 people signed up for a session to take place.
